1. Overview
On Tap Action is designed with privacy first. We collect minimal data and most processing happens entirely on your device.
2. What We Collect
Anonymous crash reports only. No personal information. No account or email required. No usage tracking or analytics.
3. What We Do NOT Collect
✗ Keystrokes or text you type · ✗ Contents of your input fields · ✗ Your API keys (stored only on device) · ✗ Your buttons or their content · ✗ Location data · ✗ Contacts or messages.
4. Accessibility Service
On Tap Action uses the Android Accessibility Service to detect when the keyboard is open and to inject text into input fields on your behalf. This service is used ONLY for these purposes. We do not read, log, or transmit any content from your screen or input fields.
5. API Keys
API keys you add are stored using Android EncryptedSharedPreferences on your device only. They are never transmitted to On Tap Action servers. They are sent directly to the respective AI provider (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google) only when you tap an AI button.
6. Third Party AI Providers
When you use an AI button, your text is sent to the AI provider you configured. This is subject to their own privacy policies: anthropic.com/privacy, openai.com/privacy, policies.google.com/privacy.
7. Data Storage
All app data including buttons, settings, and API keys are stored locally on your device using Android Room database and EncryptedSharedPreferences. This data never leaves your device except when explicitly sent to an AI provider.
8. Children's Privacy
On Tap Action is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
We will notify users of material changes by updating the date at the top of this page.
